SERVICE 01

Ambient interiors.

LED lines across the dash, doors and footwells. Any colour, fitted so it looks like the car came that way.

DASH · DOORS · FOOTWELLS DOUBLE-LINE SETUPS FACTORY-STYLE FINISH ANY COLOUR

Light where the car has none.

The lines follow the shape of your dash and your door cards. In the day you do not see the strip. At night you only see the light.

It works on its own, or on the same colour as a starlight roof.

THE DETAIL

What is ambient lighting in a car?

01

Lines, not lamps

Ambient lighting is a thin line of light running along the door cards, across the dash and down into the footwells. You do not see the source, only the glow it throws.

That is the whole trick: the channel is cut in and the diffuser hides the LEDs, so at night you get a clean line instead of a row of dots.

02

It should look factory

The aim is that someone getting into your car assumes it came that way. The line follows the shape the panel already has, and the trim goes back without gaps.

A retrofit that reads as a retrofit is the one thing worth avoiding here.

Zones and colours

Doors, dash and footwells can run together as one colour, or be split so the dash does one thing and the doors another.

Run it to match your underglow and the inside and outside of the car agree at night.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Questions we get asked.

Do you have to take the doors apart?

The trim comes off so the channel and the wiring can go behind it, then it goes back on its own clips. That is the only way to get a line that looks built in.

Can it go in an older car?

Usually yes. Older cars often have plainer panels, which can actually make the run cleaner. Send photos of your doors and dash and we will tell you what is possible.

Will it rattle?

Not if the trim is clipped back properly and the wiring is secured instead of left loose behind the panel. That is most of the work.

Can I add it to a starlight roof later?

Yes, and plenty of people do it the other way round too. If you think you will want both, tell us at the quote and we will plan the wiring once.
